Social Media and Third-Party Platforms
HiPlanets may provide the ability to sign in to the Services using your credentials from third-party platforms. With your consent, we may collect information from your profile on those platforms.
Additionally, we may allow you to import your connections or share information with social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others. To manage or disable such sharing features, you should adjust the settings either on the third-party platform or within your HiPlanets account preferences.
HiPlanets may also operate official pages on various social media platforms. Your interactions with our pages on these platforms are governed by the respective platform’s privacy policies. 3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Understanding Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your browser or device to store limited information. When you visit the HiPlanets platform, we may use these technologies to support core site functions, remember your preferences, and enhance your overall experience.
HiPlanets utilizes both temporary (session) cookies, which are removed when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain stored on your device until you manually delete them or they expire after a set period.
We deploy two general types of cookies on our platform:
- Cookies placed by HiPlanets (first-party cookies) are used to recognize returning visitors and streamline access to our Services.
- Cookies placed by external partners (third-party cookies) are set by our analytics providers, marketing affiliates, or service providers. These cookies may continue to track your interactions across different websites and platforms, depending on their intended function.
These tools help us deliver a smoother, more tailored experience to our users and enable certain features to operate as intended.
Cookies in Use on Our Platform
HiPlanets uses a variety of cookies on its Sites to support functionality, enhance user experience, analyze performance, and deliver relevant content. Each type of cookie serves a distinct purpose, as outlined below:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are fundamental to the operation of our Site. They enable core features such as secure log-ins, page navigation, and transaction functionality. Without these cookies, key services you rely on would not function properly. They are deployed strictly to deliver the services you request.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember the choices you make during your visit, such as language settings, account preferences, or interface customizations. Their purpose is to deliver a smoother, more personalized experience and reduce the need to reset preferences on subsequent visits.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how users interact with our Site by collecting data on traffic volume, user behavior, and technical performance. The insights gained allow us to improve speed, usability, and overall efficiency. For this purpose, we work with trusted analytics providers including Google Analytics, Optimizely, and New Relic. These third parties may set their own cookies to monitor your interaction with our Sites and others.
- For details on how Google Analytics uses cookies, visit: Google Analytics Cookie Guide
- To understand how Google handles your data, visit: Google Privacy Overview
- To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install this browser plugin: Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on
- For more about New Relic’s services and privacy policy, see: New Relic Website and New Relic Privacy
Social Media Cookies
When you interact with social features on our platform—such as liking content, sharing via a social media button, or linking your HiPlanets account to a third-party social profile—cookies may be placed by the respective social network. These cookies record your interactions and are managed by the social media platform’s own policies.
Advertising and Targeting Cookies
These cookies track your browsing behavior across websites to tailor advertisements to your interests. By grouping you with users who have similar browsing habits, advertising networks may serve more relevant promotions both on our platform and across the web. These cookies are typically placed by third-party ad partners.
You can manage your preferences or opt out of interest-based advertising at any time. For more details on how to do this, please refer to the “Targeted Online Advertising” section under Your Choices in this Privacy Policy.
Disabling or Controlling Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences through built-in settings. You can usually delete existing cookies, block new ones, or set your browser to alert you before a cookie is stored. These controls are typically found within the browser’s “Settings,” “Preferences,” “Tools,” or “Help” menus. By default, many browsers are configured to accept cookies unless adjusted by the user.
For additional guidance on how to view, manage, or delete cookies from your device, you may visitwww.allaboutcookies.org
Please note that disabling cookies may affect your ability to fully use certain features of the HiPlanets platform. For instance, if our Site cannot recognize your device, you may be required to log in more frequently or you may experience a reduction in personalization or functionality.
Use of Other Tracking Technologies
Beyond standard cookies, HiPlanets may utilize a variety of technologies to automatically collect information from your device when you interact with our Sites.
Flash technology
We may use Flash-based storage objects—commonly referred to as Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects (LSOs)—to collect and store data about your interactions with the Site. Flash cookies are stored differently from browser cookies and are not controlled through your web browser settings.
If you wish to manage or block Flash cookies, you can do so by adjusting your Adobe Flash Player settings. This can be done through the Website Storage Settings Panel or by using the Global Storage Settings Panel, both provided by Adobe.
Please be aware that disabling Flash storage may limit or disrupt certain Site features that rely on Flash-based components.
Additional Technologies
HiPlanets may also make use of pixel tags, beacons, and software development kits (SDKs) to support analytics, functionality, and integration with third-party platforms. These tools operate similarly to cookies and help us understand usage patterns, deliver relevant content, and improve your experience across devices.
Software Development Kits
Our mobile applications integrate third-party software development kits ("SDKs") to support essential features and enhance your overall experience. These SDKs allow us to implement tools and services developed externally, including analytics, social media functionality, and targeted advertising. In some cases, these SDKs may enable third parties to collect data directly from users of our mobile apps.
- Analytics SDKs: These tools gather usage data from within our mobile applications to help us better understand user behavior, monitor app performance, detect and diagnose issues, and support product improvement. The information collected may include device type, app interactions, session duration, and other data similar to that described in the "Information Automatically Collected" section above.
- Social Media SDKs: Social media integration SDKs enable features such as content sharing and account linking with your existing social media profiles. These tools help you engage with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter directly from the app. Depending on the permissions you've granted to these networks, they may also use these integrations for advertising or measurement purposes.
- Advertising SDKs - Advertising SDKs facilitate the collection of information about your device and app usage patterns over time. Our advertising partners use this data to deliver personalized ads within our app and across other apps or sites, and to measure ad effectiveness. Please note that the handling of your personal data by these third parties is governed by their respective privacy policies. If you wish to manage your preferences regarding interest-based advertising, refer to the "Targeted Online Advertising" section under Your Choices in this Privacy Policy.

If you have also provided consent to third parties for marketing purposes, you should contact them directly to revoke such permission.
To Generate Anonymous or Aggregated Data
We may convert personal data into non-identifiable formats ("Anonymous Data") by removing elements that could be used to identify individuals. This anonymized information is used to analyze trends, optimize services, and improve user experience. We reserve the right to use and share Anonymous Data for any purpose, including with external partners, at our discretion.
5. Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may disclose your personal data when required to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and policies, respond to allegations of rights violations, or protect the rights, safety, or property of HiPlanets, its users, or the public. Any such disclosure will be made in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
In addition, your personal data may be shared with the following categories of recipients:

Affiliated Entities: We may share your information with our parent company, subsidiaries, and other corporate affiliates when necessary for operational, administrative, or service-related purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Sellers: When you complete a transaction through our platform, we may share your relevant personal details (such as name, contact information, and purchase data) with the seller from whom you are purchasing. This enables order processing, fulfillment, and communication.
Third Parties You Authorize: We may disclose your information to third parties at your explicit request or where you have given us consent to do so, such as when using a feature that requires data sharing with an external service.
Payment Processors: We utilize third-party payment processors to securely handle transactions. Currently, [XXXX] is our designated provider. Personal data collected in the course of processing payments is governed by [XXXX]’s privacy policy and may be used in accordance with their practices as well as our instructions. For more details, please refer to [XXXX]’s Privacy Policy.
Professional Advisors: We may disclose personal data to our legal counsel, accountants, bankers, insurers, or other professional consultants, when such disclosure is necessary in the context of services they provide to us.
Regulatory or Legal Authorities: We may share your information with law enforcement agencies, government bodies, or legally authorized third parties when responding to valid legal requests, criminal investigations, suspected fraud, or any situation where legal exposure or safety risks are present. Disclosures may include contact information, account identifiers, IP address, transaction history, and other data deemed relevant to the inquiry.
Business Transfers: In connection with any proposed or actual merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale, financing, or similar corporate event involving HiPlanets, we may transfer personal data as part of the business assets. Should such a transaction occur, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the acquirer upholds commitments consistent with this Privacy Policy. In the event of insolvency or bankruptcy, personal data may also be transferred subject to applicable legal protections.
6. Account Security
Your password serves as the primary safeguard for your HiPlanets account. To maintain security, you should create a strong, unique password consisting of a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters, and you must not share this password with anyone. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account, whether authorized by you or not. Sharing your password or other personal information with others may result in unauthorized access, loss of control over your account, and exposure to potential legal obligations or liabilities arising from actions taken on your behalf. If you believe your password has been compromised or your account security has been breached for any reason, you must promptly inform HiPlanets and update your password without delay. Taking immediate action will help minimize potential risks to your personal information and account integrity.
7. Your Choices
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Data
You may update or modify any of your personal data by editing your profile within your HiPlanets account or by contacting us directly via email at the address provided below. If you wish to request deletion of your personal data, please be aware that we may be obligated by law or legitimate business needs to retain certain information for a specified period. In such cases, we will honor your deletion request once those obligations have been satisfied.
Upon receiving a deletion request, we will close your account and remove your personal data from public view as soon as reasonably practicable, considering your account activity and in compliance with applicable laws. However, we may retain some personal data from closed accounts to comply with legal requirements, prevent fraud, collect any outstanding fees, resolve disputes, assist with investigations, enforce our User Agreement, or take any other lawful actions.
Marketing communications
You may opt out of receiving marketing-related emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of such emails or by contacting us at support@hiplanets.io. Please note that opting out of marketing communications will not affect your receipt of essential service-related or administrative emails.
Targeted online advertising
Some of our business partners collect information about user activity on our Sites and participate in industry programs that allow individuals to exercise choices regarding targeted advertising based on their browsing or app usage behavior. Users can opt out of targeted advertising through members of organizations such as the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance. European users may opt out via the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance by selecting their country and following the provided instructions. Mobile users can manage preferences by installing the AppChoices app offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance. Please note, however, that some companies may provide their own opt-out mechanisms and may not participate in these centralized programs. Choosing to opt out of targeted advertising means you will still encounter ads online, but these may be less personalized. Additionally, not all advertising companies participate in these opt-out programs, so some targeted advertising may still occur. You can also adjust your mobile device settings to limit ad tracking or targeted advertising using identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple ID for Advertising.
Choosing not to share your personal information
Where provision of personal information is required by law or necessary for us to deliver our Services, failure to provide such information or requesting its deletion may prevent us from providing you with access to certain services. We will clearly indicate any required information on the Sites or through other appropriate means.
8. Security
Your personal information is stored on secure servers located in the Republic of Türkiye. We employ a range of industry-standard security measures and protocols to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Unauthorized third parties may still attempt to intercept communications or access data unlawfully, and other users may misuse personal information they obtain through the Site. Accordingly, while we strive to safeguard your information, we cannot guarantee that your Personal Data or private communications will always remain completely confidential.
9. International Transfers
HiPlanets is headquartered in the Republic of Türkiye and utilizes service providers located in various countries. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the Republic of Türkiye or other jurisdictions outside your state, province, country, or local government area. Please be aware that these jurisdictions may have different privacy laws that may offer a lower level of protection than those in your own jurisdiction.
Users located in the European Union are encouraged to review important information regarding the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area.
10. Third Parties
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, this document governs only the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by HiPlanets. If you share your personal information with other parties—such as bidders, buyers, or sellers on our Site or on other websites—their own privacy practices and policies will apply to that information. HiPlanets does not control and is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third parties. We strongly encourage you to review and understand the privacy policies of any third parties before sharing your personal data with them.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we handle your personal information. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of the policy and posting the revised version on our Sites and in the app stores where our mobile applications are available. Additionally, where required by law or at our discretion, we may notify you through other reasonable means, such as via email (if you have an account with us and have provided contact information) or through notifications on the Sites. Any updates or modifications will take effect immediately upon posting the revised Privacy Policy or upon implementation on the Sites (or as otherwise specified at the time of posting). Your continued use of the Sites following these changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. Handling of Google User Data
We prioritize the privacy and security of data obtained through Google APIs and strictly comply with Google’s API Services User Data Policy. This section explains how we manage Google user data:

- Our personnel—including employees, agents, and contractors—are prohibited from accessing Google user data except in limited situations: with the user’s explicit permission to view specific data, for security purposes, or to meet legal requirements.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements (including personalized or retargeting ads), assessing creditworthiness, or any purposes not clearly disclosed in this policy.
- Google user data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services. Users may request deletion of their Google data from our systems at any time.
- We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard Google user data against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
